1.   I can only say from start to finish of our stay we really were pleased with sevice and location. It was ideally situated for most areas and the reception staff were very helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate with good variation to suit all tastes. The hotel bar prices were a bit heavy but there were plenty of options to visit near by. Do not be put off from staying here - it made the visit traditionally Venice rather than the big clinical modern hotel version! Wray Wolfson, United States   3.   This hotel would have scored very well but for the service. It was generally very good..but for an incident withbthe a/c. It started to leak and drip on to the bed at about 1am...front desk was not helpful. We just wanted to sleep..the desk insisted we pack from this room and move to another room...we suggested we leave our stuff and pack in the morning...not acceptable. Hotel is also tired...showers are over bath and in the two rooms we had the shower head had no wall fixing. Not good for a 4*. Other than the a/c issue the staff were very good.
